Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit until frothy, about 5 minutes.
  2. Gradually mix in flour and salt; knead on a floured surface for 5-7 minutes until smooth.
  3. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a cloth, and let it rise in a warm spot for about an hour.
  4. Mix softened butter with brown sugar and cinnamon for the filling.
  5. Roll out the dough into a rectangle (¼ inch thick), spread the filling evenly, and roll tightly.
  6. Cut into slices (1 to 1½ inches thick) and place in a greased baking dish. Let them rise again for about 30 minutes.
  7. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Mix powdered sugar with vanilla extract and milk for the glaze; drizzle over warm rolls.
